The SSE Airtricity/SWAI April Player of the Month nominations have been announced.
The winner will be announced next week with two Derry City players receiving nominations after their fantastic 10-game unbeaten run.
The nominations are as follows:-
Dylan Watts (Bohemians): The teenage midfielder caught the eye against Shamrock Rovers, Derry City and Cork City and has been hugely impressive despite Bohemians’ inconsistent month overall.
Conor McCarthy (Cork City): The defender has become a key figure in Cork’s centre-back partnership as they kept four clean sheets last month. Man of the match against Dundalk.
Gerard Doherty (Derry City): Kenny Shiels’ side went unbeaten in seven games, winning five, and Doherty was an influential figure keeping four clean sheets.
Aaron McEneff (Derry City): Continued his good form last month with five goals from midfield as Derry hit top gear.
Michael Duffy (Dundalk): With three goals and three assists, the winger’s excellent performances have helped Dundalk to the top of the table.
Jamie Lennon (St Patrick’s Athletic): Has forced his way into the St Pat’s midfield and shown maturity beyond his years as well as an impressive passing ability.
