November 9, 2023: The League of Ireland is delighted to announce the extension of SSE Airtricity as the principal partner of all three senior Divisions in the League of Ireland.
The announcement brings SSE Airtricity's commitment to the League of Ireland into its fifteenth season and sees the partnership extend to 2026.
Over the course of the new agreement, SSE Airtricity will continue to amplify the partnership with an exciting range of programmes focusing on promoting sustainability, inclusion and diversity within the sport, and supporting League of Ireland players off the pitch with personal and professional development opportunities.
These programmes will build on SSE Airtricity and League of Ireland’s initiatives to date including securing additional broadcasting, the LGBT Football Takeover which helped to create greater awareness for LGBTQ+ inclusivity in football, as well as a range of sustainability-based content and accreditations to improve the environmental sustainability of clubs and the wider community.

SSE Airtricity have delivered a number of exciting projects with the League of Ireland already and we’re excited to work with them again over the course of the next three years to bring a whole new range of activations to bring further developments and initiatives to the League of Ireland.”
