Sparta Prague await winners of Shamrock Rovers tie in Champions League
Shamrock Rovers will face Sparta Prague if they progress to the second round of Champions League qualifying.
Yesterday the Hoops were paired with Vikingur Reykjavík in the first round, with the tie take place on 9/10 July and 16/17 July.
The winner will advance to meet the Czech side, with the loser dropping down to the Conference League to play the defeated team in the FK Borac Banja Luka (Bosnia and Herzegovina) v KF Egnatia (Albania) tie.
The second-round clash is to be played on 23/24 and 30/31 July, with the first stage qualifier at home in the first leg.

The second-round draw of the Conference League saw St Patrick's Athletic paired with FC Vaduz.
Vaduz are from Liechtenstein and regulars in European competition. They reached the group stage in 2022-2023.
Shelbourne drew Swiss opponents if they can get past their first round tie.
FC Zurich await the Dublin side in another difficult draw.
Derry City also face daunting opposition, with FC Copenhagen awaiting the winner of their first round tie between the Candystripes and FCB Magpies.
