The Cork native had cut ties with Limerick to search for a new challenge and he has quickly linked up with Liam Buckley's side.
Turner will add strength in depth to the Saints roster, which was recently topped up by the arrivals of Owen Garvan, Killian Brennan and Jordi Balk.
As they set about securing their Premier Division status, the Dublin club will hope that Turner, 28, can use his experience to help them secure more vital points.
