Waterford FC romped to an emphatic victory against their south east rivals in their EA Sports Cup first round tie in Ferrycarrig Park.
The Blues took the lead with 25 minutes on the clock when goalkeeper Corey Chambers failed to deal with a Shane O'Connor delivery into the box and David McDaid slotted the ball into an empty net.
Waterford doubled their advantage before the break when ex-Wexford player Gary Delaney headed in a McDaid cross at the back post.
The visitors finished the game in swashbuckling style with impressive substitute Owen Wall scoring a late double, either side of a second goal for McDaid to round off a handsome victory.
