Ali Coote opened the scoring 24 minutes into the match when he took advantage of a terrible defensive mix-up to apply a simple finish. Four minutes later, John Martin added a second with Pats' defending once again called into question. A deep right-sided corner found Michael O'Connor in plenty of space at the back post and he hooked the ball back into the six-yard area for Martin to finish. A dreadful night for Pats was summed up in the 80th minute when Matty Smith got down the left side and found O'Connor free at the back post to tap home.
