Waterford secured an important three points at Richmond Park thanks to a fantastic second-half showing against St. Patrick's Athletic.

After a quiet opening 45 minutes at Inchicore, Alan Reynold's side started to express themselves with their young, international talent at the core of all things good for the away side.

Ismahil Akinade scored the first goal of the game after an impressive assist from Karolis Chevdukas and soon after, Ireland U21 international Zach Elbouzedi doubled their lead.

Waterford completed the scoring with Aaron Drinan's strike two minutes from time as the Blues close the gap to the top five.
