Sligo Rovers sealed an incredible three points with a late comeback victory against Waterford at the Showgrounds.
In one of the games of the season so far, Waterford took the lead but the home side rallied late on to secure three points thanks to Alex Cooper's free-kick.
It was all looking so good in the first-half for Waterford who took the lead in the 16th minute and deservedly so. Olawutunmise Sobowale produced the assist of the season as he dispossessed Ryan De Vries in his own penalty box before a powerful run up the pitch saw him cross for Michael O'Connor to slot home.
John Sheridan's side dominated after the break as well but couldn't add to the scoreline and it ended up costing the Blues. With just 13 minutes remaining, Ronan Coughlan tucked home a right-sided cross from just two yards out before the grandstand finish.
After Coughlan was fouled on the edge of the area, substitute Alex Cooper deceived the keeper Tadhg Ryan, who was expecting a right-footed free-kick, and his left-footed effort went into the near post corner.
