Fans at Tolka Park were treated to a goal fest on Friday night with Ciaran Kilduff and new arrival Jaze Kabia both notching braces in a 5-2 win for the home side.

It took 11 minutes for Shels to hit the front with an unmarked Ciaran Kilduff heading home Lorcan Fitzgerald's deep cross from the left. Fitzgerald notched his second assist of the game in the 26th minute after he found Ryan Brennan with a corner, and the latter nodded past Jason McGuire to double his side's advantage.

Shelbourne looked to have the game wrapped up eight minutes later when Brennan picked up Fitzgerald's corner just outside the box and attempted to get a strike away first time.

He completely miscued but a Wexford defender went to ground trying to block his attempt and fouled Brennan.

Kilduff stepped up to find the net from the spot. Despite the scoreline, Wexford came out fighting in the second half and two goals in nine minutes from Danny Furlong had the home fans biting their nails.

However, Jaze Kabia fired home from five yards on 64 minutes after a mazy run from the exciting Denzil Fernanades who had only being on the pitch a matter of seconds.

Kabia finally wrapped up the win two minutes from time, heading home Shane Farrell's cross after he was left completely unmarked in the centre of the box.
