Bottom of the table Galway United grabbed a late draw with Limerick FC thanks to a cracking goal from David Cawley.
Limerick had led thanks to a Robbie Williams header on 33 minutes from a Lee J Lynch corner kick. The home side had bossed the game up to that point and went close to taking the lead early on from a long range effort by Chris Mulhall.
Limerick didn't turn their dominance into goals and were up against a different Galway side after the break. Galway never looked like scoring though, until Cawley popped up with a stunning strike from 25 yards that earned his side a share of the spoils completely against the run of play.
