Galway United gave their relegation survival hopes a shot in the arm with a 4-1 home victory over Drogheda United.
Gavan Holohan's hat-trick sealed a sensational performance by the midfielder, but credit too must go to Lee Grace who popped up at the death to cap a fine performance with a goal. Holohan's third goal, in particular, was a terrific effort - lobbing Stephen McGuinness from long range.
Drogheda grabbed a consolation through Stephen Elliott, but overall Pete Mahon's side were outplayed and their poor form continues.
