Galway United produced perhaps their best performance of the season, triumphing 3-1 thanks to goals from Ronan Murray, Padraic Cunningham and Eoin McCormack.
Murray's goal, in particular, was a fantastic sight to behold - the United midfielder smashing the ball from distance to emphatically open the scores.
Further strikes from Cunningham, and a late one from McCormack added to a great night - despite Limerick pulling one back through Garbhan Coughlan.
The result could be a turning point in Galway's season. As for Limerick, it was a performance they won't want to repeat.
