Lorcan Fitzgerald’s beautiful volley into the bottom corner for The Gypsies second goal was a sight to behold and set the away side up for a good victory which would take them five points ahead of Galway United.
Galway United would get a foothold in the game when Ronan Murray struck a beautiful free-kick right into the bottom corner of Shane Supple’s goal.
United couldn’t find an equaliser in the end, however, and The Gypsies go back to Phibsborough with the three points.
