Drogheda have climbed back into the play-off places after they defeated Longford Town 2-1 at United Park.
Dean Dillon struck a fine opener for the visitors but Drogheda were level when Gareth McCaffrey curled a fine free-kick past Mick Kelly in goal.
Peter Hopkins missed a great chance to put the visitors back in front but he was denied by Paul Skinner and McCaffrey struck again with 15 minutes to go as McCaffrey showed great composure to dink the ball over Kelly.
The Longford keeper nearly levelled in stoppage time but he headed narrowly wide from a corner. Drogheda's win means the final play-off spot will go down to the final day next Saturday.
