Limerick have moved into the top-half of the table after they defeated Drogheda United 2-0 at United Park.
Goals in either half from Robbie Williams and Grabhan Coughlan sealed a routine win over a struggling Drogheda side.
Having had a goal already ruled out for offside, Limerick were on the right end of a contentious call as Robbie William’s header at the back-post was allowed to stand despite the assistant referee’s flag for offside.
Limerick were in control for the majority of the contest and they sealed the three points with five minutes remaining as substitute Garbhan Coughlan beat Stephen McGuinness to a bouncing ball to head into an empty net.
