Both clubs fielded much changed sides from the ones that were in league action over the weekend and it was the hosts who had the first genuine chance as Janabi Amour fired over from 15 yards out Cabo improved after the break and they nearly took the lead in spectacular fashion as Jack Watson's first time shot from Luca Gratzer’s weak clearance failed to hit the target with the keeper stranded.
