David O'Sullivan was the hero for the away side, who pick up their first win of the season.
Goals in the 14th minute and either side of the break from O'Sullivan picked up the three points. O'Sullivan put Longford into the lead after a lovely slick pass from Gavin Boyne. The striker then only had the keeper to beat to put the away side ahead.
In the 42nd minute, O'Sullivan was on target with a header from a corner. Shortly after the break, in the 48th minute, O'Sullivan completed his hat-trick as he bundled the ball over the line.
