The Lilywhites turned on the style against the First Division outfit and recorded the biggest win in FAI Cup history.
Michael Duffy scored two in the first 10 minutes of the match and it was 6-0 at the break as Andy Boyle, John Mountney, Patrick McEleney and David McMillan added to the scoreline.
It took Dundalk 10 minutes to open the scoring in the second-half but once they got that one through Chris Shields, a superb strike, the floodgates opened once again.
Substitute Nathan Oduwa, McMillan, Flores and Sean Murray all added more goals in the second-half to seal their spot in the Extra.ie FAI Cup final against Shamrock Rovers.
