Derry City will be looking to build on their recent good form when they welcome Limerick to Maginn Park in the Sunday fixture this weekend.
Kenny Shiels' men were sent crashing from the Europa League qualification rounds when they were defeated 10-2 on average against FC Midtjylland.
However, they have responded impressively, claiming three wins from their last four league outings including impressive away wins against Bohemians and Finn Harps.
Limerick have remained a mid-table side throughout most of the campaign, and that is where they currently reside. Inconsistent form has meant they have failed to pull away from the bottom half of the table, but a win against the Northerners this Sunday could see them achieve that and also close the gap on the chasing pack should results elsewhere go their way.
