President Higgins welcomes four President's Cup representatives to Áras an Uachtaráin
The President of Ireland Michael D Higgins received four representatives from the participating teams in this year’s Men’s and Women’s President’s Cups to Áras an Uachtaráin today to mark the upcoming two fixtures.
Lee Grace from Shamrock Rovers, Joe Redmond from St. Patrick’s Athletic, Karen Duggan from Peaumount United, Athlone Town’s Laurie Ryan and League of Ireland Director Mark Scanlon were all welcomed by President Higgins for the event.
SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division Champions Shamrock Rovers and Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup winners St. Patrick’s Athletic meet this Friday at Tallaght Stadium in front of an expected record crowd for the Men’s President’s Cup with kick off at 20:00.
Sports Direct Women’s FAI Cup winners Athlone Town host SSE Airtricity Women’s Premier Division Champions Peamount United on March 2 at 17:00 at Athlone Town Stadium in the Women’s President’s Cup.
