The average attendance in the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division in 2023 so far has increased to 1,268 compared to 1,226 in the first series of games in 2022, a campaign which culminated with Cork City gaining promotion to the SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division.
Newcomers Kerry have enjoyed a strong introduction to the League of Ireland with an average home attendance of 1,194 so far with all four home fixtures sold out at Mounthawk Park.
Finn Harps, who averaged 1,293 last season, have seen an increase in average attendance to 1,575 at Finn Park despite their relegation from the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division.
Waterford have recorded the highest attendance average in the first series of games with 2,283.
