Keith Long would have been excused if he had lost his voice following another thrilling Dublin Derby, but the Bohemians manager was able to muster up enough words to describe his team's 2-1 triumph over Shamrock Rovers.

The win in Tallaght Stadium is the second time in the 2018 SSE Airtricity League season that The Gypsies have gotten the better of The Hoops. But it required a late, late finish from Darragh Leahy to seal it.

Still, that showed the character that exists within this Bohs squad and that is what filled Long with pride.

"I thought our display was really good, and if I am honest, I thought we were unlucky to go into half-time 1-0 down," Long said in an interview with eir Sport.

"We regrouped at half-time, we asked the players to go again, to express themselves and believe in themselves. I thought they did everything I asked of them, they showed magnificent courage tonight and I think we were worthy winners. 2-1 doesn't flatter us."

Leahy got that winning goal, but he felt that it could have been anyone such was their attacking mindset in the second half.

"We could have been 2-0 or 3-0 up before they got their goal," Leahy told eir Sport. "We did it at Dalymount when we went in 1-0 down at half-time. We knew we could do it again, we just kept on going, and eventually we got the goal."
