LOI and Grinds 360 launch partnership to provide Academy players access to over €400,000 worth of educational services
The League of Ireland and education provider Grinds 360 are delighted to announce a new partnership which will give EA SPORTS LOI Academy teams over €400,000 worth of student memberships available free of charge for players to the platform.
Established and operated by qualified teachers, Grinds 360 is an online service designed to provide on-demand educational content to students across Ireland to assist with their secondary school educations.
Grinds 360 consists of teachers who work in Ireland’s top grinds schools and the service gives students ease of access to the modules and grinds they need whenever they need it. Offering a range of 19 subjects, the online platform is a perfect way for young footballers to have the flexibility to commit to the demands of League of Ireland Academy football whilst also focusing on their education.
League of Ireland Academy Programme Manager, Will Clarke, said: “We’re delighted to announce this new partnership with Grinds 360. Education is a crucial part of all players’ journeys through football and in life and this programme will be a great resource for the players who avail of the platform. Given football often features busy schedules for players and their families, the ease of access of the platform should enable all the players to use the resources provided by Grinds 360 when and where they need it. We look forward to working with Grinds 360 in this new partnership and the Clubs in activating the benefits that come with it for players.”
Grinds 360 CEO and Co-Founder, Ronan Murdock, said: “We are delighted to partner with the League of Ireland to support their players and clubs in reaching their full potential, both on and off the pitch. The vision that the League of Ireland has for the future of Irish football is very bright and we are very excited to be a part of that. Having the League of Ireland on board strengthens our goal of bringing our educational platform to every corner of Ireland and we look forward to helping the LOI Academy players manage their busy schedules.”
