SSE Airtricity League Premier Division side Bohemians have announced that Kevin Devaney has put pen to paper on a deal for the 2019 season.

The influential 28-year old winger rejoined the club last season and scored five goals for the Gypsies during the 2018 season.

At the beginning of the month, Bohemians also announced four new signings for the upcoming campaign as goalkeeper Niall Corbet joined the Dalymount Park club.

Defender James Finnerty also joined from Rochdale, Michael Barker joins from St. Patrick's Athletic and midfielder Daniel Mandroiu joins from Brighton and Hove Albion.

Defender Paddy Kirk and striker Ryan Swan have also re-signed with the club as manager Keith Long looks to build on their impressive 2018 campaign.

After signing Devaney, Long told bohemianfc.com; "I’m delighted to have Kevin commit to us for next season. He developed into an important figure for us. He is a very good player – defensively and offensively.

“He has developed a great partnership on the left-hand side with Darragh Leahy and a lot of our play came down that wing this year, so it’s important that we can keep that partnership going for next season and build upon it.”
