Goalkeeper Barry Murphy has signed a new deal with SSE Airtricity League Premier Division side St. Patrick's Athletic ahead of the 2019 season.
Murphy returned to Richmond Park for the 2017 season after a spell with Shamrock Rovers and has put pen to paper on a new deal which will see him stay in Inchicore next season.
Manager Harry Kenny has been busy in the off-season with a number of players committing to the club for the upcoming campaign. Georgie Poynton joined the club after leaving Dundalk last month and midfielder Cian Coleman has also joined the club after impressing for Limerick last campaign.
Defender Ciaran Kelly joined from Drogheda United in November and Kenny also got exciting, young forward James Doona to commit to the club for the 2019 season.
The 33-year old Murphy will be competing for the No.1 spot at Richmond Park and he spoke to the club below.
