Ollie Horgan is not someone who shies away from the truth so when it was needed to review his team's loss to St Patrick's Athletic he was quick to hold his hand up.
Finn Harps never got going on their visit to Richmond Park and ended up on the wrong side of a 4-0 scoreline. But Horgan knew that that was as much as they deserved.
"We weren't good enough. We had two great chances to equalise but very disappointing from the second goal on. I just felt that the heads dropped," said Harps boss Horgan.
"It's worrying and there is no point in me saying anything differently. I just felt that some of them (players) went into their shell a little bit after the second goal went in until the end of the game.
"It's the first time this season that's happened. We didn't show enough fight to begin with, but at the same time we're still in the game at 1-0 down even though we're not playing well. But we showed nothing...don't mind fight, you can't even use that word."
It doesn't get much easier for Harps as they take on Premier Division leaders Cork City on Monday evening.
"But sometimes the matches come quicker after a defeat like that possibly the better," said Horgan, trying to look on the bright side.
