Carlow-Kilkenny have began life in the SSE Airtricity National U15 League this season and have gone from strength to strength.

This year, the first full season of the SSE Airtricity National U15 League began with one new entrant from the inaugural season in 2017. Carlow-Kilkenny joined the league as the two leagues formed a team which represents the area in national elite youth football.

They've already enjoyed a number of impressive results but have impressed even more with their work off the pitch. The players are given the full professional football environment treatment with gym-based recovery sessions, opposition presentations and analysis ahead of every game.

Most recently, Carlow-Kilkenny enjoyed an impressive victory at Cobh Ramblers this weekend and have already claimed victories over Kerry and Wexford in the cup.

FAI TV went down to Carlow-Kilkenny to speak to Head Coach Mark Ross to see how the team are coping in the national league and to see how they prepare for each match.
