2025 MFD preview - Bray Wanderers

Bray Wanderers enjoyed a brilliant end to 2024 reaching the SSE Airtricity Men’s Premier Division Promotion / Relegation Play-Off where they lost out to Drogheda United and will be hoping their young squad can go again in a tight 2025 Division.

They will do so without the services of Cole Omorehiomwan who helped secure their Play-Off spot with a memorable last minute equaliser last year but have brought in some new blood to help their cause this season.

Players who have showed real potential in Cian Curtis and Rhys Bartley will ply their trade at the Carlisle Grounds in 2025.

They’ll be alongside Dylan Barnett and Thomas Considine too. Considine impressed early on in his Treaty United spell last season and will be hoping he can bring the goals again to seaside this season.

The new signings will add to the ranks that already include  Cian Doyle, Paul Murphy, Rhys Knight, Alain Kizenga, Zayd Abada and Ben Clarke who have also re-joined the squad for the 2025 season.

Attendances were on the rise towards the end of last year in Bray and it was great to see the Seagulls flock in their numbers for the Play-Off games which ignited a real spark around the Club towards the end of 2024.

Paul Heffernan and the rest of the coaching staff at the Club will be hoping their young guns this year can keep that spark lit.
