First Division side Shelbourne have announced that four player have re-signed for the 2018 season.
Derek Prendergast, James English, Alan Byrne & Dean Delany have all signed up for the new season.
It was great to see Shelbourne win the Leinster Senior Cup this week. To go to Oriel Park and beat Dundalk in any competition is a tall order; to deny them the silverware after a gruelling 120-minute contest on a cold night makes the achievement all the more heroic.

The left back who started playing football at Hartstown United, featured in an FAI Cup final for Shelbourne in 2011 and also played for Bohemians, Waterford United & Athlone Town where he won promotion with Roddy Collins.
