League of Ireland player Jesse Devers launches hairstyling brand ‘Flye Hair’

Former Sligo Rovers player Jesse Devers has gone into the business world with the launch of his own hairstyle brand ‘Flye Hair’.

The Mayo man has played with Galway United, Sligo Rovers & Finn Harps along with a spell with Wolves in England.

We asked Jesse about how his business is going and how it started,

‘I’ve always had a passion for hair and it’s always been a goal of mine to launch my own product line.

Almost two years ago I started to journal I’d write what products I wanted, the texture, smell, colour & down to how I wanted the packaging to look.

I also wanted the packaging to be eco friendly.

I then got in contact with people in the industry to see how I go about making my goal a reality.

I’m not going to like it was hard work over and back with my manufacture as I was playing football & training around the clock, but I am very happy with the way everything turned out.’

Where did the name come from?

‘ A lot of people have asked how I came up with the name (Flye Hair) it came from the tattoo on the back of my neck. I am so grateful that a lot of people in the sports industry have supported my business.’

Currently not with a club Devers said that he is keeping his options open but is enjoying his new venture.

Most people will remember this beauty he scored against Dundalk last season in Oriel Park.
