Former Dundalk & Galway manager Ian Foster named on Phil Neville’s Women’s England team coaching staff

Former Dundalk & Galway manager Ian Foster named on Phil Neville’s Women’s England team coaching staff for the remainder of Neville’s term in charge.

Foster is currently the England 19s men’s coach and this will not effect that role in anyway.

Speaking to LeagueofIreland.ie about the new role, Foster said,

‘Phil Neville asked me to come in and assist him for the remainder of his contract which I was more than happy to do.
I’ve done 3 camps now with the Senior Women and they’ve been great.
It doesn’t affect my Men’s U19 role which is still my main job within The FA.
This additional role allows me more time on the grass with players which is perfect considering all the time we lost during the first lockdown.
Between 2009 and 2011 Foster manager Galway United and Dundalk in the League of Ireland.
