Former Dundalk Centre back and Ireland International Andy Boyle has joined Dundee on loan for the season from Preston North End.
The Dubliner has found it difficult to get game time at Deepdale and was on loan with Doncaster Rovers last season.

A replacement for Steven Caulker it seems. Not the worst move all things considered. They’re not much of an upgrade to Dundalk by any means but he’ll get exposure against Celtic, Rangers and Aberdeen. Might’nt be guaranteed a spot in first xi though with 2 other defenders arriving on loan. Himself and Darren O’Dea at the back perhaps;)
