Tobi Adebayo-Rowling leaves Cork City and signs for Bromley FC

Vanarama National League side Bromley FC have announced the signing of Cork City full back Tobi Adebayo-Rowling.

The full back signed from Sligo Rovers in the off season for Cork City but found game time tough to come by under John Caulfield.

Speaking to the official website Manager Neil Smith was deligthed to secure Tobi’s services; “I’m really pleased to have Tobi on board. He’s been playing out in Ireland, and we’ve had some fantastic reports on him. It’s a position we’re looking to strengthen in and he’s coming in looking to kick on again. I like him as a player, he’s an attacking right-back who likes to get forward, but at the same time, is solid defensively.”

  1. Not a loss for city but definitely a loss for the league. It’s a shame Shamrock Rovers or Derry didn’t sign him, or Sligo even could have done with resigning him. Would be useful coming toward european football now

  2. absolutely agree, what a waste to lose him to non-league. Surely some LOI team should have made a move for him, or as you suggest, back to Sligo.

  3. Congrats to Tobi on his move back to UK
He gave good service to Sligo Rovers but returning was never an option
He will be a loss to League of Ireland but a pity to see that John Caulfield could not manage this talent!!!!!
