Sean Maguire signs new three year deal with Preston North End

 

Former Cork City striker Sean Maguire has penned a new three year deal with Preston North End of the English Championship.

Despite four months out injured last season Maggie’s was still the clubs top scorer and made his international debut the same year.

Speaking to the official Preston site he said “I have improved a lot since I signed for Preston North End and that’s what I want to continue doing and I think the gaffer has played a huge part in that.

“I have come on leaps and bounds since I started my first campaign last August and I want to continue improving and there is no better club to do that with than Preston North End.

“We set the bar last season, finishing seventh and we want to take this club to the top tier and I think next season we need to push on.”

  1. Improved wages for Maguire you’d hope and deservedly so! Hopefully he cracks on again next year, injury free and earns a move up if Preston don’t get promotion. Great bit of business by Preston as well, who seem like a younger Ipswich when it comes to fantastic bargain business!
