Former Cork City player Brian Lenihan retires from football at the age of only 23

Former Cork City defender and current Hull City man Brian Lenihan has retired from football at the age of only 23.

Lenihan played for Cork City before signing for Hull City in 2014 for a reported 200k.

The Cork man went on loan to Blackpool for game time and was also called into multiple Ireland squads for their Euro 2016 campaign.

Injury has forced Lenihan to call it a day at such a young age on the advice of Doctors at Hull City.
