Andy Boyle joins Doncaster Rovers on loan

Former Dundalk FC player Andy Boyle has left Preston North End to join Doncaster Rovers to get some more game time.

Boyle struggled to hold down a starting position at Deepdale so will join Darren Ferguson’s side until June.

Speaking to the official Doncaster site, Boyle said: “I’m really looking forward to coming here and getting some game time, I want to play as many games as possible and try to climb higher in the table.

“I’m fit and ready and if the manager picks me, it makes it easier that we’ve got a game coming up straight away and it’s a big game to have as my debut.”
