Bohemians are delighted to confirm the return of Karl Moore to Dalymount Park.
Moore enjoyed four seasons with the club between 2012 and 2015, making 105 league appearances and scoring five goals before joining Bray Wanderers.
The 29-year-old can play on either wing and also lined out at left-back for the Seagulls.
A Bohs fan growing up and a product of St Kevin’s Boys, Moore joined Manchester when he was 16 and spent nearly six years at Eastlands.
During his time at City, he was an FA Youth Cup runner-up and was capped for Ireland at underage level all the way up to Under-21s.
He returned to Ireland in 2010, lining out for UCD, Galway United and Shamrock Rovers before settling at Bohs in 2012.
A fans’ favourite, the highlight of his first stint at Bohs was scoring a brace in the 4-0 Dublin derby win over Shamrock Rovers in June 2012.
Manager Keith Long said: “Karl coming back to the club is a really good signing for us.
“He’s a player with bags of ability and he’s returning to us more experienced now after two good seasons with Bray.
“He can play on either flank but he’s been equally as good at left-back for Bray too.
“We believe he can reproduce that form here and that we can rely on his experience to help bring some of our younger players through too.
“We’re starting pre-season on December 28 and I’m looking forward to working with Karl again.”
Long now has 23 players under contract at Bohemians for next season: Oscar Brennan, Dan Byrne, Dan Casey, Dinny Corcoran, Rob Cornwall, Kevin Devaney, Philip Gannon, Jamie Hamilton, Paddy Kavanagh, Paddy Kirk, JJ Lunney, Cristian Magerusan, Colin McCabe, Karl Moore, Eoghan Morgan, Ian Morris, Derek Pender, Fuad Sule, Shane Supple, Ryan Swan, Warren O’Hora, Keith Ward, John Ross Wilson.
