Today on it has been reported that Derry City have offered Patrick McEleney a whopping four year contract to secure the services of the midfielder.

In the piece it states that, ‘McEleney still hopes to secure a move to England this winter, with Blackburn Rovers and Oldham Athletic interested, although it is believed that Doncaster Rovers have withdrawn from talks.’
