Ciaran Kilduff is poised to exit Dundalk as the strikers tenure at Oriel Park looks to be coming to an end. Reports emerging this morning is that the Kilcock native is set for a move to America with interests from state side emerging over the past number of weeks.
Kilduff signed for Dundalk from St. Patrick’s Athletic in 2015 and scored on his debut against Bray Wanderers in the Carlisle Grounds coming on as a second half substitute. He scored some memorable goals in his Dundalk tenure with a famous back heel against Sligo Rovers en route to the 2015 FAI Cup final win for Dundalk.
However he will be remembered for his two crucial goals in the Europa league against AZ Alkmaar and Maccabi Tel Aviv on a historic European run for Dundalk. In his time at the club he has scored 31 goals in all competitions.
His next club should be revealed in the coming days.
It is also rumoured that Patrick Hoban is set to return to Oriel Park before the transfer deadline
Ciaran Kilduff is expected to miss Dundalk's trip to Sligo this evening. Word is he could be on his way to a club in the NASL in America.
