RTE today have announced that Dylan Connolly is expected to be announced as a Dundalk player in the very near future.
Connolly has been tracked by the Louth side over the last year and apparently had a bid of up to 100k turned down by Bray Wanderers in the summer.
The former Ipswich Town man is expected to put pen to paper on a two and a half year deal with Dundalk.
The Irish Sun reported earlier in the week that the fee is in the region of 40k.
He may feature in Dundalk’s Champions League clash with Rosenborg if he is registered before July 6th as a local Dundalk reporter references.
Dundalk have until midnight CET on July 6th to register any potential new signing in order for them to be eligible to play against Rosenborg
