Neale Fenn announced as new Longford Town manager

Longford Town have announced Neale Fenn as the clubs new manager.

Longford take on Fenn who played League of Ireland football with Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers, Waterford, Cork City & Bohemians.

Fenn, (40), takes over from Alan Mathews who left the club last month.

Longford are currently in the First Division in fifth place.

Speaking to the Longford website, the New manager had this to say, “I am delighted to have been chosen to be the next manager of Longford Town Football Club.

I cannot wait to get started, meet the players and to get my ideas across before our next home game against Cabinteely on Saturday.

I am excited about the club’s ambitions and plans for the future. This club should be in the League Of Ireland Premier Division and it is my aim as manager to get us there.”
