Drogheda United to host Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town

Drogheda United are excited to announce that the club will be hosting Ipswich Town in a mid-season friendly.

The game against the Championship side will take place on Saturday, the 8th of July with a 2pm kick-off at United Park.

Ipswich, managed by former Republic of Ireland boss Mick McCarthy, finished their season yesterday in 16th place and they will travel to Drogheda in the summer as part of their pre-season preparation.

Further details on the friendly will be announced in the coming days.
