Waterford FC Unveil New Home and Away Kits

Waterford FC are delighted to unveil our new home and away kits for the 2017 SSE Airtricity League First Division campaign.

With a new era for the club very much underway with exciting squad additions, an upturn in season ticket sales and a buzz around the city and county of Waterford as a whole, we are proud to link up with market leading kit supplier Umbro for the 2017 season as owner Lee Power looks to bring Waterford FC to the next level.

Waterford’s new home jersey will be the traditional blue colour, while the club have opted for a white jersey for an away kit.

The new kits will be on display for fans to see in person in a Questions and Answers session with coach Alan Reynolds along with special guest players to be held at Norris’s Bar on Wednesday evening (7.30pm).

As a token of appreciation to fans, we are also delighted to confirm that our successful season ticket offer of €99 adult tickets will be extended to include the Questions and Answers event as well as an open training meet and greet with players to be held at the RSC this Thursday evening starting at 6.30pm.

General Manager Paul Cleary commented on the link-up with Umbro and new design of both the home and away kits:

“Umbro are a market leader in football worldwide so we as a club are delighted to be associated with such a successful brand. The players and staff have found our range of jerseys and training gear to be of excellent quality and we hope that the fans, young and old, will love the merchandise range and will be kitted out in full as we look to fill the stands at the RSC in Blue and White.

This is an exciting time for Waterford FC. We have had our best season ticket sales in several seasons while the calibre of players the club has attracted means we will have every opportunity to push on now and aim for promotion at the first attempt under our new owner Lee Power and the management team.”

Details of how supporters can get their hands on our new merchandise will follow soon while the first team will don the brand new Away jersey in this Friday’s friendly away to SSE Airtricity League Premier Division side Limerick FC at the Markets Field, 7.30pm kick off.
