Today at a press conference in Tallaght Stadium Shamrock Rovers announced the signings of four players including Ryan Connolly, Roberto Lopes, Danny Devine & Paul Corry.
The signings were announced by head coach Stephen Bradley and Director of Football Stephen McPhail.
These signings are a statement of intent by the Dublin club to cut the gap between them and Dundalk & Cork City to challenge in 2017.
Connolly certainly is the key signing as he has been captain at Galway United for the last two seasons and a key figure in their rise to success.
Roberto Lopes will be crossing the Dublin divide as he has left Rovers rivals Bohemian FC to join the Tallaght based side.
Danny Devine signs from Firhouse Clover and is a former Aston Villa player.
Paul Corry signed after being released by Northampton Town.
