Gavin Holohan set to leave Cork City

Gavin Holohan has announced that he will be leaving Cork City and plans to sign for a club where he will get regular football.

After two seasons with Cork City and collecting an FAI Cup winners medal on Sunday Holohan has decided it’s time to move on.

The Kilkenny native signed from Drogheda United in 2014.

In his Twitter announcement he mentioned that he ‘will be back at the Cross next season’ which suggests he will be signing for a Premier Division club.

Will he be returning to Drogheda? Limerick would be close to home for him but no clubs have been mentioned as of yet.
