
It has been reported in the Irish Independent today that Galway United are set to appoint Ian McParland as their new manager.
The Scot has been recommended by Ireland assistant manager Roy Keane.
McParland was on Keane’s backroom team at Ipswich Town during his tenure and was appointed as caretaker when manager when Keane left.
No official statement has been released by the club who are searching for a new manager after the departure of Tommy Dunne last month.
