The Irish Sun have claimed today that Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town are monitoring Dundalk FC’s star man Daryl Horgan.
In the article that you can read here, it says that Ipswich had scouts monitoring Horgan at Oriel Park on Tuesday night in the title clash with Cork City in which he scored twice.
Horgan is a free agent at the end of the season and as he is now 24, Dundalk will be entitled to no compensation.
Apparently McCarth is expected to come over and cast an eye on the Galwegian himself before anything progresses.
