Dundalk to face Bohs next Friday instead of Cork City

A number of SSE Airtricity League games have been rescheduled as a result of European ties, international call-ups, and a backlog of domestic fixtures.

The Premier Division clash involving Bohemians and Wexford Youths, which was originally scheduled for Friday, September 2, will be moved to Monday, September 19. Bohemians will instead play host to Dundalk on Friday, September 2 at Dalymount Park, kicking off at 19:45.

The Premier Division game between Finn Harps and Cork City, which was postponed, has now been fixed for Monday, September 19 with kick-off set for 20:00.

Cork City’s game against Galway United at Turner’s Cross has been pencilled in for Tuesday, September 27 with a kick-off of 19:45.

Two games in the First Division – Waterford United v UCD (September 9) and Cobh Ramblers v Limerick (September 10) – have been postponed due to clubs being involved in the Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup. New dates will be announced in due course.

The FAI will meet with Dundalk FC early next week in relation to facilitating their games in the UEFA Europa League as well as the domestic competitions.
