EA Sports Cup final to be held at Market’s Field in Limerick

The 2016 EA SPORTS Cup Final between St Patrick’s Athletic and Limerick will be played in Markets Field on Saturday, September 17.
Current holders St Pat’s overcame Shamrock Rovers in the semi-final, while Limerick edged past Derry City to set up what should be a thrilling final.
The match-up between a Premier Division team and a First Division side is given added spice with the various connections between the two clubs but also their ambition to win this competition.
The draw for the final was made in FAI HQ by Derek O’Neill, who previously played for both clubs, and had St Pat’s manager Liam Buckley and Limerick secretary John Kennedy present.
