Youth’s boss Keegan expects to see Dundalk in the Champions League this season

Wexford Youths boss Shane Keegan has heaped praise on Dundalk FC and their high level of talent after his side fell just short of taking a point away from Oriel Park last night after a Paddy McEleney strike in the 93rd minute killed off the contest.
Keegan and his side are a breath of fresh air in the division and speaking to the media after last nights game could still find positives for his side to be happy and proud of their performance.

“I would fully expect Dundalk to get to the Champions League proper this season. They are that good that I think they will go toe to toe with some of the best teams in Europe.”

“Tonight we absolutely had them pinned to the end of their collar, we threw absolutely everything at them, they were panicking big time but it’s the sign of the brilliant team that they are that they came up with the goods.”

  1. Great to see a team come to Oriel and not park the bus ALL of the time. Yes when they were winning but understandable
